PGA Tour Professional Hunter Mahan stopped by Stonebriar Country Club Friday night to provide tips, strategies, and stories with the AJGA juniors playing in the weekend's tournament.  After answering questions and practicing a few swings on the driving range, Hunter and four lucky juniors competed in a Closest to the Hole contest on No. 18.

THE Haney Bell

The Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship took place at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas for the first time in the event's six years. Mr. Haney Bell stepped up as the Volunteer Chairman, rounding up more than 50 volunteers for the first and final rounds. Without his efforts, the tournament would not have been possible. Big thanks to Mr. Haney Bell!

The final round started Sunday with a three-way tie for first in the Girls Division between Jordy LaBarbera of Allen Texas, Maddie Szeryk of Allen, Texas, and Alexis Sadeghy of Edmond, Okla. LaBarbera and Szeryk both attend Allen High School and play on their school's golf team together.

"Maddie and I had a lot fun playing against each other," LaBarbera said after Sunday's final round. "I think it  was a really good learning experience."

The Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship was LaBarbera's first AJGA win.
