Local Commitments

Twenty players in the field have committed to play collegiate
golf after graduation; over half of those will attend schools in Michigan
including Michigan State, University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan. Coaches
from these schools were out in numbers throughout the week recruiting next
generation.

Tricky Tuesday

The social activity this week featured the talented Rick Kent
who came out to show off his trick shots at the driving range. Kent’s talents
ranged from hitting 6-foot drivers, to smashing a golf ball through a box of
golf balls. Juniors were encouraged to participate in the fun including hitting
trick clubs, higher than average tees and a few magic tricks.
