Scott Stallings Championship presented by True Temper is a 54-hole
stroke play competition played on the par-71 course at TPC Southwind.
The event features 56 boys and 21 girls, ages 12-18, from 15 states and
Australia. The Boys Division is playing the course at 6,868 yards while
the Girls Division is playing the course at 5,852 yards.
Stallings, PGA Tour Professional, is the Under Armour® / Scott Stallings
Championship presented by True Temper Tournament Host. Stallings has two PGA
Tour wins under his belt from the 2011 Greenbrier Classic and the 2012 True
South Classic. Stallings visited TPC Southwind, where he played in the FedEx
St. Jude Classic in June, during the Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament, practice
round and True Temper Pairings Party to hang out with players and parents in

this event, the True Temper Pairings Party occurred the night before the first
round and included a barbecue dinner, live music and the revealing of the first-round
tournament pairings. Scott Stallings was on-site to unveil the pairings and
wish the players a successful tournament. Two bands played during the party
including tournament player, Jake Rudesill, and fellow AJGA player, Andrew Duff.
Playing at the renowned TPC Southwind
has been home to the FedEx St. Jude Classic for 24 years. Players have the
opportunity to play on the par-71 PGA Tour course known for its rolling
zoysia fairways and champion Bermuda greens. Players can see the remnants of
two grain silos on Nos. 8 and 9 and a windmill on No. 16 from when the property
was a dairy farm.
