Pleasant Locals…

Playing in the AJGA Junior at Ruby Hill this week in Pleasanton, Calif., were five local young men all attending and playing for the same high school in Pleasanton. Alec Bommarito, Troy Maxoutopoulis, Hussain Ali, Zachary Smith, and Sam Richardson are all on the Amador Valley High School golf team and all competed this week at Ruby Hill Golf Club. Along with the showing from Amador Valley, the local rivals at Foothill High School in Pleasanton also had several representatives in attendance, including Ryan Maund, Tanner Hughes, Roshan Chekuri, and Patrick Fracisco.

Aloha Pleasanton!

This week’s tournament in the bay area was host to three of the furthest travelling AJGA competitors. Andrew Paisley of Kamuela, Hawaii, Kacie Komoto of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Zachary Braunthal of Honolulu, Hawaii all made the 2,400 mile trip to the mainland for the AJGA Junior at Ruby Hill.
