The Rolex Tournament of Champions is a 72-hole stroke play event conducted by the American Junior Golf Association at Capital City Club — Crabapple Course in Alpharetta Ga. The tournament field features 72 boys and 60 girls from 30 states, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand and Venezuela. The Boys Division is playing the par-70 course at 7,247 yards and the Girls Division is playing at 6,309 yards.

DOUBLE THE FUN: Hole No. 3 saw not one, but two holes in one in the past two days. Alexandra Rossi of Austin, Texas, aced the hole during the first round and Annie Park of Levittown, N.Y., did the same during the second round. The boys better watch out!

GEORGIA ON MY MIND: The state of Georgia is well represented among the Boys and Girls Divisions. Nine players from the state of Georgia are competing this week and seven out of the those nine have committed to play college golf.

Zack Jaworski of Alpharetta (2012) – Signed, Vanderbilt
Michael Pisciotta of Alpharetta (2014) – Verbal, Georgia Tech
Greyson Sigg of Augusta (2013) – Verbal, Georgia
Lee McCoy of Clarkesville (2012) – Signed, Georgia
Parker Derby of Columbus (2013) – Verbal, Georgia
Andy Shim of Duluth (2013)
Ashlan Ramsey of Milledgeville (2013) – Verbal, Clemson
Mariah Stackhouse of Riverdale (2012) – Signed, Stanford
Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell (2015)

FORE PAWS: Samantha Marks of Maitland, Fla., isn't the only one wearing Ralph Lauren. Her dog Bruno is sporting it as well, along with some very stylish sunglasses. Bruno has accompianied Marks' mother for two of the three rounds, so let's hope he comes to cheer Samantha on in the final round.
