Fun facts about The Woodlands and The Woodlands Country Club:
With a community of roughly 94,000 people, The Woodlands has increased their population by almost 90% since the 1990 census was released. Alongside a multitude of small communities, The Woodlands is located in the heart of Texas, just miles outside of downtown Houston.

The Woodlands Country Club has been home to both PGA tour events and The Champions tour events, hosting players such as Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Arnold Palmer over the years.

Wise as they come
IR Supernaw, the Senior Rules Official for the Junior Championship, has aced the USGA rules test a staggering three times. “Supe,” as all of the AJGA staff refers to him as, has been working with the AJGA for 19 years and has roughly helped with over 7,000 rulings in that time span.

Rain, rain, go away
In the first two rounds of the Junior Championship there have been three rain delays, totaling up to six hours of waiting. Being bored during that time, however, was hard to become. Billiard Factory supplied the juniors with an arcade system, an air hockey table, a shuffleboard table, and a foosball table in the clubhouse to help pass the time.
